This arrangement of impossibly beautiful flowers is immortalized through the lens of British artist Marc Quinn. The edition, which is part of a series of photographic works from the Winter Garden, featured in the artists 2004 solo exhibition at IMMA

Born in London, England in 1964, Marc Quinn studied history and the history of art at Robinson College, Cambridge. Solo exhibitions include Tate Gallery, London, 1995; Kunstverein Hannover, 1999; Fondazione Prada, Milan, 2000; Tate Liverpool, 2002; Groninger Museum, Groningen, 2006; MACRO, Rome, 2006 and White Cube, London, 2008. In 2005, Quinn presented Alison Lapper Pregnant for the Fourth Plinth commission in Trafalgar Square, London. The white marble sculpture over 3.5 metres in height depicts a pregnant disabled woman, and questions our preconceptions of and often-prejudiced attitudes towards femininity, disability and historic representation
